Welcome to the official website of the Central Labrador Environmental Action Network, Inc.
Our mandate is to foster and promote healthy, sustainable aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems through stewardship, education and research in partnership with various stakeholders in the Upper Lake Melville region of Labrador.
The Central Labrador Environmental Action Network, Inc. (CLEAN) is an ACAP site whose main objective is the management of the Upper Lake Melville watershed in central Labrador and all the activities that can entail.
CLEAN is first and foremost an education and environmental awareness group, seeking to enlighten and expand the public’s knowledge base and to effect change through gathering community stakeholders together and finding solutions in everyone’s best interest.
CLEAN is dedicated to ensuring future generations grow up with good environmental practices and a healthy respect for the environment.
We have several projects a year and stress community involvement as much as possible. Our website is designed for you to easily access information and news concerning the environment, CLEAN and our projects. We hope you find it useful!
